Climate change is always more evident: higher temperatures, more frequent fires, rising seas. Effects from the macroscopic impact on our lives and that make it difficult to predict the future of planet Earth. At the same time, men are the main architects of these changes and, therefore, also those who can influence them, for better or worse. It is necessary to ask ourselves how to act to find a mediation between human needs and a reshaping of our society more in line with the needs of nature.
What will the planet be like in 10 years? And in 30 years? What decisions to make the prospects better?
In this meeting, participants will be able to meet Eric Holthaus, a journalist who has always been at the forefront of the fight against climate change. In his latest book, The Earth of Tomorrow, he gathered the testimonies and knowledge of economists, futurologists, activists and experts in climatology to explore the future of the planet, explaining the consequences that a passive approach would have. On the other hand, what could happen if we decided to join forces to adopt the large-scale changes needed to cope with the crisis we are experiencing.
