Leading companies towards innovation: the role of management

Innovation is one of the main drivers for organic growth within a company. Today, in order to innovate, it is not enough to introduce avant-garde technological solutions, follow the best practices of model companies or undertake research and development in individual business sectors. What is required is a transversal innovative approach. To do this, many major groups have created the position of Chief Innovation Officer.
What do these individuals do and what results do they obtain?
Offered in this webinar will be the example of the financial sector with a presentation from the CIO of BNP Paribas Security Services, Dario Resnati.
He will focus on three main areas influenced by innovation within BNP:1. Management: actively involving top and middle management to render innovation less “risky";
2. The psychological (and neuro-scientific) aspect of innovation;
3. Corporate culture: transforming the approach to problems that could arise, not tolerating resistance to change and promoting internal awareness.
For each of these aspects, concrete examples will be offered, examining the problems encountered and the results obtained. Following the presentation, there will be the usual opportunity for participant discussion.
