Germany: Europe’s engine and an example for the Italian economy?

What makes today’s German economy so strong? What are the main economic drivers inside and outside the country? What is Germany doing to ensure future growth? In this webinar an overview of the strongest European economy will be offered from the perspective of a government-owned development bank, KfW. We will then make a comparison with the Italian economy.Ranked as the world’s safest bank every year since 2009 (in Global Finance’s ranking), KfW is Germany’s third-largest bank and Europe’s largest development finance institution. Founded for financing Germany’s recovery after world war II, KfW played a leading role in rebuilding the East German economy after reunification, and it is now playing a leading role for the country’s transition to green energy and sustainable growth. KfW also supports economic development in emerging markets and low-income countries.
