WEBINAR LIVE
Philosophy and Management.
Ethics and Values. Kant, Hegel, Aristotle and how to overcome moral dilemmas

This Ambrosetti LIVE webinar is part of a series dedicated to the search for points of contact between the corporate world and the thought of the great philosophers. Each event will address a topical issue for business leaders, starting from the ideas and reflections of the philosophers of the past, a world apparently far from the managerial but closer than we think.

In this event, we will address the issue of ethics, extremely relevant for today’s managers.
Today more than ever, those who run a company are called to know how to manage it, not only effectively and efficiently, but also in an ethical way. Both from the outside and from within the company, there is more and more attention to business decisions, an attention that goes beyond the numbers and results, but that focuses also on the ethics of these decisions. Ethics, however, is a nuanced concept, which does not simply mean respecting rules, but making, with an eye to the future, the best choices for the good of the company, its people, and of society as a whole. A position not easy for those who are called to decide.

What does it mean to be ethical? How to distinguish good and bad in an increasingly gray world? What suggestions can the great philosophers give to a manager in 2023?

Around this question, a discussion will arise, led by Mauro Bonazzi, philosopher and author, who will explain the thoughts of the great philosophers, from Aristotle to Hegel and Kant, which still today can offer useful insights to those who, in the company, is called to make difficult decisions every day.
